On April 22, grab your work gloves, trash bags, friends and family and gather some garbage. It’s all part of Trash Bash, a roadside cleanup and collection day sponsored by L.L.Bean and our friends at Thompson’s Point. Participating is easy. On Earth Day, just pick up trash on the streets of your neighborhood or at a park or beach near you. Then bring bagged trash to the L.L.Bean flagship campus in Freeport or to Thompson’s Point in Portland during these hours: • L.L.Bean, Freeport: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. • Thompson’s Point, Portland: 1 to 5 p.m. You’ll even get more than the satisfaction of a good deed done well. For every bag you drop off, you’ll get a $10 L.L.Bean gift card while supplies last.
