Manning Building Supplies, Inc. in Apopka is seeking a highly motivated and energetic person for the position of Window Department Service Technician Apprentice. Manning Building Supplies, Inc. is a Florida based, family owned and operated building supply company since 1979 and growing every year. As a Window Department Service Technician Apprentice you will be responsible for assisting in servicing and repairing various window types for Custom Home Builders and Remodelers in Orange County and local surrounding areas. The goal is for you to learn the trade to eventually become a Service Technician. Knowledge of windows is helpful but not required. • You will learn to understand and diagnose repair issues of various window functions and assist with repairs. • You will learn to be responsible for inventory management of parts and units while being able to pick up and carry medium to large size objects. • Will be required to travel to job sites with our Technician for repairs and service needs and assist with the progress of related jobs using a company provided vehicle. • All tools of the trade will be provided. • Must interact with sales staff, customers and homeowners using strong communication skills. • Must submit and pass pre-employment background check, DMV check and drug screen.
