Tom ClevelandManaging Partner at Access Business Finance Mr. Cleveland serves as managing partner for Access Business Finance, L.L.C., a company that he co-founded in 1996 that is principally engaged in providing asset-based working capital financing to small and medium-sized businesses. He has over 48 years of financial institution experience including the founding of Enterprise Bank, where he served as Chairman of the Board, CEO and President until the bank’s sale to Washington Mutual on August 31, 1995. Prior to Mr. Cleveland’s founding of Enterprise Bank, he served as President Chief Executive Officer and Director of Gibraltar Savings of Washington, F.A. from 1984 through January 1988, and held various positions with Bank of America from 1971 to 1984 including Vice President and Manager of the International Banking Office, Los Angeles, San Francisco and San Diego. Our Panelists Lisa DowEVP & Chief Risk Officer at Columbia Bank Lisa Dow was promoted to Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer in March of 2018 where she manages the bank’s comprehensive risk management process to help position Columbia for future growth. Ms. Dow joined Columbia Bank in 2013 as Senior Vice President and Senior Credit Administrator. In this role, Ms. Dow was responsible for credit approval for a $2 billion portfolio of commercial and agricultural loans, while also serving on a number of management committees. Prior to joining Columbia Bank, Ms. Dow served as Senior Vice President, Regional Credit Administrator & Credit Services Manager for West Coast Bank for 14 years. Earlier in her career, Ms. Dow held lending and relationship management positions with Bank of Vancouver, Security Pacific Bank, and Bank of America. Ms. Dow serves as Board Treasurer for the Columbia River Economic Development Council and is also one of the founding members of Empower Women + Girls in Clark County. She holds an M.B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley and a B.A. in Economics & International Business from the University of Puget Sound. Jason WesslingEVP & Chief Financial Officer at Pacific West Bank Jason is the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Pacific West Bank and joined the bank in early 2019. Jason previously served as the CFO of Premier Community Bank after a robust banking experience in bank operations. Jason received his CPA in 2013 and served as a bank auditor in the Pacific Northwest for nearly three years. Jason received his undergraduate degree from Linfield University and his Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Accounting. Frank NamdarEVP & Chief Credit Officer at Umpqua Bank Frank Namdar serves as the Executive Vice President / Chief Credit Officer of Umpqua Bank Holdings Corporation with responsibility for managing various credit processes for Umpqua Bank and Financial Pacific Leasing and has held risk management and credit positions for over 30 years. Frank is responsible for Umpqua Bank’s credit approval administration, portfolio management, credit policy, special assets, appraisal services and aspects of regulatory compliance. Previously with US Bank for 25 years, he has worked in a number of banking areas and roles, including as EVP & Chief Credit Officer of US Bank Equipment Finance.
