Jubilate! The Women's Choir of Corvallis presents Earth, Air, Fire & Water: A 2022 Spring Concert As we enter the season of renewal, regrowth, and healing, Earth, Air, Fire & Water speaks to the enduring elements of earth and spirit. From contemporary compositions to songs inspired by hymnal traditions and song circles, our program celebrates the natural world, reminding us to protect its beauty, conserve its energies, and cultivate peace. Program highlights include Windsong, an original composition by Jubilate accompanist Lucy Watts, the exuberant Emerald Stream by Seth Houston, and the colorful Tres canciones de los elementos by Victor C Johnson. Also included are songs by Jubilate favorites, such as composer Joan Szymko and the ensemble Libana. Our concert is filled with the elements that connect the rhythms of singing with the rhythms of the earth! Something new for spring! This season we are pleased to offer 2 concerts: An evening performance on April 30 at 7pm and a Sunday matinee on May 1 at 4pm. For both concerts, we will be joined by members of our sister chorus, the McMinnville Women's Choir. Please consider donating to Jubilate! The Women's Choir of Corvallis by purchasing one of our themed tiered ticket options. Our AIR, FIRE, and WATER tickets allow you to add a donation, from $5 to $20, to the cost of a general admission EARTH ticket . All donations are tax deductable through Jubilate's 501 (c)(3) non profit organization, Music For All - Corvallis. Doors open 30 minutes prior to start time. The safety of our patrons and our choir is essential to our return to live performance. Jubilate will follow the COVID-19 safety protocols set by our organization and by the First United Methodist Church. These currently include proof of up-to-date vaccination status and the use of approved facial coverings for all audience members. Thank you for your continued support.
