Downtown Manchester Gearing Up For 'Small Business Saturday'

MANCHESTER, CT — Businesses is Downtown Manchester are getting a big start to the holiday shopping season with an event related to the national "Small Business Saturday" observance. Small Business Saturday is on Nov. 28. That day, shoppers can come Downtown to shop – and enter to win prizes. The first 50 shoppers who stop by a welcome tent in the Forest Street Lot between 10a.m. and 4 p.m. can pick up a "Love-Local" tote bag stuffed with coupons, deals and products. Shoppers can enter to win prizes. Shoppers can pick up a game board for a "Connect 4 Challenge." They will have from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. to complete the shopping challenges on the game board and be entered to win a variety of prizes. For more information visit www.downtownmanchester.org.
