Everyone! No prior experience is required. All are invited to come with a curious mind and an open heart.
How do I prepare?
Eat light prior to coming. Bring a yoga mat. If you have your own meditation cushion or bolster, bring it, otherwise you can use what is available at the studio.
Who is the guide?
This course is facilitated by Susan Alden, Co-Founder of Mind Body Aloha. Susan has been teaching yoga, meditation, and practices rooted in indigenous healing wisdom for nearly two decades. She is a Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT) and has worked extensively with individuals suffering from chronic pain, disabling physical injuries and wounds, PTSD, anxiety, and depression. Susan is passionate about indigenous healing practices such as ho'oponopono, the Medicine Wheel, and the ancient yogic wisdom of the Himalayas. Participants will feel the weaving of her depth of personal experience, professional training, and the deep honoring of the elders who have mentored her along the way.
