Why First Fridays...Come learn something new and meet someone new. Michael Neal is currently the Director of Pipeline Safety at the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission. Formerly, he served as Director of External Operations and Chief of Advance for the Vice President of the United States, Michael R. Pence, while Governor of Indiana and during the 2016 Presidential Transition. He also formerly served as State Chairman and National Committeeman of the Indiana Federation of Young Republicans, as well as Midwestern Regional Vice Chairman of the Young Republican National Federation. Michael is a strong organizational leader in business, government and energy development. Michael formally served as President of the Brownsburg Board of Zoning Appeals and as the first President of the Johnson County Convention, Visitor, and Tourism Commission. As President, Michael led the creation of the county’s first-ever tourism bureau from the ground up. Michael volunteers in multiple capacities as well. He is currently a volunteer worship leader at Traders Point Christian Church. Formally, he served as a board member, Legislative Committee Chairman, and Special Projects Committee Chairman of Indiana Right to Life. Michael obtained his Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Western Governors University and an Associate of Arts in Business Administration from the American Intercontinental University. Michael resides in Noblesville, IN with his wife, Kristen.
