Position Overview: As a Painter 1 you are bringing a basic skill set to the table and are ready to learn more to increase your knowledge and bring more value to the team. With help from the team, you will learn the basic skills to become a skilled painter. No job is too small when it comes to moving the entire team forward. Qualifications: Valid Driver’s License, acceptable driving record & reliable transportation Team player who is able to communicate and work well with others Uncompromising attention to detail Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions Ability to occasionally work in a high stress - fast paced environment Must consider safety in all aspects of work environment Willingness to learn and develop new skills Responsibilities Include (but not limited to): On time for work with a positive attitude Completes all company training requirements Adheres to all company policies and procedures Motivated to learn and assist other painters with all tasks Apply common sense to all tasks designated by Lead Painter or Painter 2 Attention to detail on all designated tasks Utilizes basic painting equipment such as ladders, brushes, rollers and maskers Maintain clean jobsite, trailer and tools Learn safe ladder and fall protection practices
