After 18 years Matt Simpson has decided it's time to cut his signature locs. YOU'RE INVITED TO HELP at this fundraiser and bday celebration! CHOP-A-LOC FOR WABONGO: A Fundraiser and Birthday Celebration After growing them for 18 years, Matt Simpson has decided it's time to let go of his signature locs. On his 35th Birthday, he will cut his hair and YOU ARE INVITED TO HELP during this fundraiser and birthday celebration! The goal of the haircut is to raise funds to support the impact and outreach of the Wabongo Leadership Council - an award-winning non profit most known for its college tour, youth employment programming and community development efforts. 100% OF EVENT PROCEEDS GO TO WABONGO. The haircut will be facilitated by Master Barbers Ray Richmond (The Experience Salon & Spa), Waunie Neal (Classic Cuts) and the legendary Vernon Simon, founder the historic Vern's Barber Shop Attendees will enjoy a brief program, including presentations on the history of the organization, remarks from previous Wabongo Scholars, partners, board members. The entertainment for the night will be a LIVE BAND KARAOKE EXPERIENCE. In addition, attendees will enjoy food, cash bar, raffles and silent auction.
