LGSO welcomes flutist Scott Metlicka and guest conductor Donald Schleicher for a Sunday afternoon performance at Big Foot High School This Sunday afternoon performance is the culmination of a multi-day conductor's workshop led by master pedagogue Donald Schleicher, recently retired from the University of Illinois. Hosting a workshop is rare for a community orchestra, but this is something that fits the educational mission of the LGSO, both in terms of helping young conductors refine their craft, vut also in showing them a community orchestra that plays at an exceptionally high level. Participating conductors will work with the LGSO earlier in the week under Mr. Schleicher's instruction. *Please note the time and location for this performance
