Train to be a model railroad builder. MUST BE ABLE AND WILLING TO TRAVEL out of state a minimum 7 to 10 consecutive days per month. Must have experience and basic knowledge of cordless and corded hand power tools and shop tools. Must be able to carry up to 50 pounds up and down stairs several times during the day. Primary duties include loading and unloading tools and model railroad assemblies into and out of van and trailer. Carrying tools and railroad assemblies up and down stairs to rooms railroad will be finally assembled in. learn how to construct all aspects or model railroad assemblies including carpentry of benchwork modules, laying track, wiring, installing turnouts and assemblies and creating scenery and scenery effects. $15 to start regular pay increases to $20 once trained or already properly experienced.
