Join us for a special storytime! Authors Andrea Melvin and Dave Eaton will tell us the story of how their family became complete. Andrea and Dave will be reading their book, Love Rules. It tells the story of their son, Michael, and how he became part of their family. Afterwards we'll make heart signs like the ones Michael's classmates brought to his adoption hearing! About the authors: Andrea Melvin and Dave Eaton, both from Canada, were married in 2010. Andrea is a curator at Grand Rapids Public Museum and Dave is a professor of history at Grand Valley State University. Michael joined their family in 2019. As a family, they enjoy spending time together at home as well as traveling. They live in East Grand Rapids, Michigan with their dog, Rory.
