Come join us for an afternoon with Billy Hoekman of Green JuJu Join us as Billy Hoekman* shares his knowledge with us about Green JuJu, a healthy pet food company. He'll be discussing Green JuJu's wonderful products and all of their nutritional benefits as well as the new products that will be coming out. Billy will be joined by Dr. Katie Kangas* and Dr. Barrie Sands* for a Q&A following his presentation. There is limited seating for this event. Please register to reserve your seat. He is involved in formulation, product development, working with farmers, science education, and sales and marketing. He participates frequently in expert panels and speaks nationally and internationally in venues ranging from universities and conferences to public libraries. He also serves on the board of directors for multiple organizations, attends AAFCO meetings, and has numerous published articles. He is a trusted pet health advocate that specializes in turning hard to understand nutrition concepts into plain English. He lives in Lancaster Pennsylvania with his wife Emily, their daughter Maple, and their dog Huckleberry. *Dr. Katie Kangas owns and operates Integrative Veterinary Care, a private practice in San Diego, California, offering holistic and integrative health care options for pets. She achieved her CVA certification at the Chi Institute in 2008, followed by additional training in Advanced Acupuncture, Food Therapy, Herbal Medicine and Veterinary Orthopedic Manipulation (VOM). Her areas of special interest include nutrition, functional medicine, dental health, and pain management. Dr. Kangas has authored several articles published in veterinary journals and pet magazines and shares her passion for pet wellness education by lecturing and presenting locally, nationally and internationally. Additionally, Dr. Kangas has a background in shelter medicine, with 15 years of contribution to the homeless pets in her community and previously served as the medical director of the San Diego Humane Society & SPCA. *Dr. Barrie Sands is an Emergency Critical Care, Integrative Holistic Veterinarian. She is a journalist, national and international speaker and is the author of the book “The Stupid things my Humans Does, True Stories from the Animal ER.” She is a certified coach and trainer from the Institute of HeartMath facilitating emotional intuitive guidance, stress management and resilience building. She studies interspecies quantum biofield physiology and is the founder of Illumina Sciencia.
