We are hosting this event to advocate for mothers who have been impacted by the criminal justice system and the child welfare system.
We know that Mother's day can be a hard day for many people. Some people are reminded of the loss of their mother. Some mothers are reminded of the separation from their children. Some people may not know their biological mother. Whatever the case may be, this day brings up many emotions for many people. We want to take the time to celebrate motherhood. Today we stand in unity at this courthouse to advocate for mothers and parents who are still dealing with the separation from their children.
Join us in solidarity as we march to the Edmunds courthouse.
