TAMPA, FL — Tampa police are investigating a fatal crash involving a pedestrian on East Hillsborough Avenue near the intersection of North 34th Street. The crash occurred around 5:55 a.m. Thursday. All eastbound lanes of East Hillsborough Avenue are shut down and traffic is being diverted south on North 34th Street into the neighborhood.
