Press release from Escambia County Government: Apr 14, 2022 In observance of Good Friday, the following Escambia County offices will be closed on April 15, 2022. Escambia County Board of County Commissioners - all departments including: West Florida Public Libraries (all locations) Escambia County Property Appraiser Escambia County Tax Collector Escambia County Department of Animal Welfare Escambia County Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller Waste Services Administration Supervisor of Elections Office ECAT administrative offices Special Notes: The Perdido Landfill will be open with regular hours Friday, April 15. ECAT buses and trolleys will operate regular service Friday, April 15 and Saturday, April 16. Buses and trolleys will not run on Easter Sunday, April 17. Regular service will resume Monday, April 18. The Department of Animal Welfare will resume normal hours on Saturday, April 16. West Florida Public Libraries will also be closed Saturday, April 16.
