Job Duties: -Identify, package and label various non-hazardous and hazardous wastes. -Load, transport and dispose various containers sizes of non-hazardous and hazardous wastes. -Perform confined space entry and cleaning of various tanks, sumps, vaults and related confined areas. -Operate various pieces of heavy equipment to include forklifts, skid steers, etc. -Operate various pieces of small equipment and power tools to include air compressor, water trailer, rivet buster, rotary hammer, angler grinder, etc. -Be in possession of a valid Class C license (at a minimum) and have the ability to tow a trailer. -Coordinate truck ingress and egress to and from various project sites. -Assist with traffic control on various project sites as needed. -Complete various regulatory paperwork accurately including waste labels, non-hazardous waste manifests, hazardous waste manifests and bill of ladings. -Have the ability to work individually as well as with a team. Preferred Training: -40 Hour HAZWOPER -First Aid / CPR or EMT -Confined Space Entrant, Attendant, Rescue -Class C or Class B or Class A Commercial Drivers License with HAZMAT Endorsement Preferred Experience: 3+ years of environmental industry experience Compensation: Hourly, depending on experience (overtime after 8 hours, double time after 12 hours) Health Benefits Paid Vacation & Sick Days
