Safety in Motion Flight Center’s Olympia, WA location is seeking to hire Fuel Line Service Technicians. The Company provides aviation services to include aircraft fueling services, aircraft positioning, aircraft management, aircraft detailing, and aviation maintenance, corporate pilot support services, on demand air charter, and comprehensive flight training. Weekly Schedule Thursday 2pm-8pm (6 hour shift) Fri - Sat - Sun 8am-8pm (12 hour shifts) Position Description: The Line Service Technician provides basic service to a variety of aircraft such as marshaling, towing, fueling, changing lavatory fluids, replenishing ice, water, and papers. The Line Service Technician must have a professional demeanor and excellent communication skills interacting with customers, receiving instructions, confirming details, assisting with baggage, etc. We are seeking candidates with friendly and outgoing personalities who have experience working outdoors, experience providing quality customer service, the ability to work flexible hours as needed, and a desire to work in an aviation setting. Essential Job Functions: Providing aviation fuel to aircraft via fuel trucks to aircraft located on the Olympia Airport Moving aircraft to/from hangar locations and as needed Marshaling aircraft through arrivals and departures Providing basic service for aircraft, e.g., fuel, oil, lavatory, water, etc. Driving vehicles in areas congested with moving and stationary aircraft, vehicles, and equipment Transporting clients Greeting pilots, passengers, and crew members Aircraft detailing Assist with customer service duties as needed Basic landscaping as needed to maintain a clean and orderly ramp and service area Ensure hangars, tarmac and client areas are kept clean and orderly Ensuring a safe environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations Other duties assigned by the Line Services Manager Work Environment The employee will work outside on an airport ramp, inside aircraft hangars, and occasionally inside and around the office buildings. Employee will experience various degrees of aircraft noise and weather conditions. Required Qualifications: Must have the ability to work with a variety of equipment and vehicles Must have a valid driver's license and approved driving record Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills Must be a self-starter and able to work independently with limited direct supervision.
