WATERFORD, CT — A train struck a dog near Route 32 in Quaker Hill on Tuesday, according to The New London Day. The dog dodged a full-fledged collision with the train but suffered what appeared to be a broken jaw and a concussion. The pit bull had been reported missing out the day before the accident.
