#FilmsForTheCulture Film Scramble is a creative Do It Yourself short film festival challenge open up to filmmakers and non filmmakers. Gulf Coast Short Film Fest is back with another awesome film scramble, "#FilmsForTheCulture" as part of Gulf Coast Culture Fest, on May 21, 2022 at 8:00 pm at Bartram Park, downtown Pensacola. This film scramble gives participants the opportunity to explore their creativity in the creation of their films. Participants will be given a list of guidelines, including random props and other elements, in which they must use to create a short film of around 5-7 mins long. They will also be given a specific period of time to complete the films. Short films can be made using iphones, dslrs, or cinema style cameras. REGISTRATION: There is a $25 registration fee. DEADLINE TO SIGN UP: May 5, 2022 DEADLINE TO SUBMIT ENTRY: May 14, 2021 at 4: 00 p.m. RULES AND REGULATIONS: After the final sign up date, participants will receive an email with the specific guidelines needed to complete their films on May 6, 2022. They will have one week to complete and submit their films. FESTIVAL LOCATION: The films submitted will screen at the night portion of Gulf Coast Culture Fest on May 21, 2022 at 8 p.m. in Bartram Park, downtown Pensacola. Admission is free to the public.
