The Lake Nona Football Parent Council invites you to welcome Coach Robinson as head coach of the Lake Nona Lions! We're kicking off the season with a team scrimmage and chili cook-off on Saturday, April 30th.
All players are included and parents and family are invited to join in to watch the game and have lunch.
Chili Cook-off!The food will be as good as you make it! We're asking you to prepare your best chili recipe and bring enough to share. The coaching staff will award prizes for the best chili!
Times:Players' arrival time will be communicated by the coaching staff.
9:30 - 11:30 am >> Scrimmage game. Parents are invited to grab a donut and some coffee (provided by Harvest Community Church) and watch the game.
11:30am - 1:00 pm >> Lunch and lawn games. Families will eat together and have some time to hang out and play some lawn games.
What to Bring:In the registration link, let us know what you can bring!
Chili - We're asking as many parents as possible to prepare and bring chili to share (cook for your family +4). We'll have power to keep your crockpot running so you can bring it ready to go at 9:30. If you're bringing food but coming only for lunch, please arrive by 11:30 am. Sides & drinks - Not sure about bringing chili but able to bring a side dish? If you're not bringing chili, please bring both a side and a beverage option (flat of water, Gatorade, soda).Lawn Games - bring out your corn hole, ladder toss, bocce ball, etc. When you register, RSVP for the total number of people in your family, including your LNFB player. Once you click "Register" you can tell us what else you plan to bring.
