Description

BALTIMORE, MD — Authorities on Thursday identified the body found on Interstate 95 in Baltimore this week as the biological mother of a 3-year-old killed last week in a rowhome fire, according to reports. State police identified the woman as Danielle Shanae Parnell, who was found dead Tuesday on I-95 in Cecil County, CBS Baltimore reported. Police said Parnell is the mother of My'royal Bennett, who died on April 9. On Wednesday, authorities said they had information to support that the body "was likely a biological parent of the child killed in a fire last week on Vancouver Road." On Monday, police confirmed they were investigating Bennett's death in a rowhome fire as a homicide. The fire happened in Baltimore's Beechfield neighborhood, according to a separate CBS Baltimore report. Baltimore firefighters were called to the home at 4722 Vancouver Road on Friday evening, according to CBS. Bennett was found dead inside the home. Neighbors told CBS a woman lived in the home with her two kids. As of Monday, police had not identified a suspect.
