By Bob Francis, Fort Worth Report April 14, 2022 Rex Benson is something of an eggs-pert. The owner of Ol' South Pancake House, has been serving breakfast dishes for years. He views the recent increase in egg prices as only the latest in a long string of issues that have caused unprecedented upheaval in the restaurant industry. "I mean, it's everything," he said. "We've had lockdowns, supply chain issues, price increases in all sorts of items, so the increase in egg prices? That's just the latest that we're dealing with."
