LA GRANGE, IL – Two burglaries of unlocked cars were among the latest reports from La Grange police. Here is the information from the records: A wallet with several credit cards was stolen from an unlocked car between April 7 and April 10 in the 10 block of North Peck Avenue. The resident became aware when the bank alerted the resident to unusual activity on one of the credit cards. Some charges were accepted and some were not, so police do not have an estimate yet on the financial loss. Cash and merchandise were stolen from an unlocked car between 3 p.m. April 4 and 7 a.m. April 5 in the 10 block of Beacon Place. The cash amounted to $12. The merchandise was valued at $150.A jacket, wallet and keys were reported stolen April 7 from the La Grange Park District office, 536 East Ave. The total loss was $450. The stolen items included a driver's license, a Social Security card, a state identification and keys.
