TOWSON, MD — A high school in Towson has added a retired Ravens player and Super Bowl champion to its coaching staff. Jacoby Jones is the wide receivers coach for Calvert Hall College. Calvert Hall shared a photo of Jones with Calvert Hall Cardinals Coach Josh Ward on the football field Tuesday afternoon on the school's Facebook page. Jones, 36, had been a wide receivers coach as recently as last year at his alma mater, Lane College in Tennessee, according to Bleacher Report. He played for the Ravens from 2012 to 2015, during which time he helped Baltimore to its 2013 Super Bowl win. Among his career highlights are a touchdown known as the "Mile High Miracle," after Jones received a 70-yard pass from quarterback Joe Flacco in the divisional playoffs in Denver and a 108-yard punt return for a touchdown in Super Bowl XLVII against the San Francisco 49ers, according to BaltimoreRavens.com. While public schools remain all virtual in Baltimore County, Calvert Hall started back in person at 50 percent capacity this week, with the remainder of instruction taking place online in a hybrid model. State officials have said fall sports practices may begin in Maryland Wednesday, Oct. 7, and competition can commence Oct. 27.
