Do you need a little Easter? Please come sing up the sunrise in celebration of Easter with the help of the Choir of King's College, Cambridge, the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, and all the other enthusiastic choirs and voices we can recruit. Short, cheerful and informal.
What: Favorite hymns, the Easter Gospel, a couple of prayers, lots of Holy Spirit and the Hallelujah Chorus.
Snacks!
Where: St. George's Anglican Church (7676 W. Gilmore Ave, Las Vegas 89129) has kindly offered us their parking lot. Please park on the (paved) west side, the service will be held in the (dirt) east side.
When: We'll start promptly at 5:30 AM because the sun comes up at 6.
Why? Because - - Easter!
For the Hallelujah Chorus: Please bring your own score, or just sing along.
Feel free to invite friends and family. Not really suitable for small children.
What to wear: Comfy clothes, we'll be standing on dirt and starting in the gloaming.
Be prepared for: Probable social distancing and a collection on behalf of St. George's community assistance programs.
In the event of wet weather, the celebration will move to the adjacent covered patio.
