JOB SUMMARY We are currently looking for a Part-Time Food Server who is responsible for performing a variety of physical tasks required in the dining room and kitchen. This includes serving food in a friendly, professional and efficient manner to all residents, cleaning tables and resetting for the next service. Applicant must be available to work a variety of shifts to include mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays. SCHEDULE Part-Time, PM ShiftMonday-Saturday 4:00pm-8:00pm, Sunday 10:00am-2:00pmShifts will include mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS Patience and understanding of the agedTact and courtesy in dealing with residentsAbility to read menus and follow written and verbal instructionsMust be able to lift 25 pounds and walk or stand for long periods of timePrevious experience in a premier resident dining room setting preferredGreet residents and guests, check reservations and assign seating to residents and guests REQUIREMENTS Applicant must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations. Also must meet health assessment requirements as regulated by the California Department of Social Services. TB testing and fingerprint clearance required by Community Care Licensing through the State of California Department of Justice background check bureau.
