Hospitality Opportunity Starts @1500.00 per month DOE plus all Tips, includes housing food & travel, limited internet. Employment type: full time /part-time Hospitality & Maintenance Opportunity for a couple Skwentna Roadhouse located in the Shadows of Mt Denali along the Iditarod Trail START DATE: May 15, 2022 Skwentna Roadhouse located where the outback begins. The Roadhouse is centered on a peninsula of sorts between 2 rivers the Yentna & Skwentna, about 60 miles due west of Anchorage, Alaska. Skwentna Roadhouse actively seeks a couple with an appreciation for the great outdoors and with a little adventure in them. The lucky individual(s) with experience in hospitality & Maintenance. Will be awarded an opportunity to work with one of the only Roadhouses in the area. The individual(s) should have a positive cheery attitude, along with some experience and knowledge of the hospitality & General Maintenance industries. Individual(s) should be prepared to live remote, the lodge is in a wilderness setting. Job duties include housekeeping, meal prep, baking, dishes, pumping fuel, laundry, cutting & hauling wood just to name a few; having a solid mechanical aptitude is definitely a plus. It is essential that our staff bring with them a positive teamwork attitude, an ability to work constructively with others and able to follow directives! Must be self-starters and work with minimal supervision; must be trustworthy, reliable and responsible. Must have good people skills. Must be physically fit to haul up to 50lbs short distance. Must have your Alaska serving and TAMS Card required by the state of Alaska. Included in this arrangement: All food, lodge housing (cabin/room) will be provided, while employed at the Roadhouse transportation and laundry is offered free of cost, as well as an adventure of a life time. Skwentna Roadhouse is a remote lodge only accessible by small plane, river boat or Snomachines in the winter. The position is open beginning in May to the right individual(s).
