*** PROFESSIONALISM IS A MUST *** Soon to be vacant rental property needs cleaning and repairing. - Someone with handyman skills is needed (there are holes in the walls, broken cabinet draws/doors...) - Someone to assist with cleaning (SCRUBBING) and hauling away junk is needed. The appliances are covered with food splatter. A thorough cleaning job will be needed. *** PROFESSIONALISM IS A MUST *** IMPORTANT: The unit has a bad roach infestation and there may or may not be bed bugs present. I can provide you with a hazmat suit so that you do not carry any pests home with you. Cleaning/hauling/repairing should begin either May 2nd or May 3rd. At the moment, only about 3 to 4 hours of help is needed but depending on the workload, we may need a handyman / cleaning assistant for multiple days. Tasks will be delegated on site. I suspect the tenant will leave behind dirty clothes, trash, and some furniture. You will be paid at the end of the day. If the project spans over multiple days, you will be paid at the end of each day. *** PROFESSIONALISM IS A MUST: - Do not reply if you are not punctual. - Do not reply if you cannot follow directions. - Do not reply if you cannot return emails/texts/phone calls in a timely manner. - Only ONE person is needed at the moment. Do not show up with your friend/cousin/brother/uncle. - ABSOLUTELY DO NOT reply if you cannot follow directions or if you cannot be on time. Due to the overwhelming amount of non-professionals we receive through Craigslist, rather than hiring someone right away, you will be invited to the rental property first for a meet/greet. You'll get a chance to walk around and see what needs cleaning and/or repairing. FINALLY... - If you are equipped to handle BOTH duties, that would be ideal. If you can only handle one of the duties, that is okay. In the subject line of your reply email, type "HANDYMAN DUTIES", "CLEANING ASSISTANT", or "BOTH DUTIES" to indicate which duties you will handle. - If you are applying to assist with cleaning, you should be comfortable with cleaning up thick gunk on the walls, baseboards, appliances, and fixtures (the previous tenant had babies inside the unit).
