Crash Snarled I-83 Traffic At Ruxton Road

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Interstate 83 was temporarily shut down Thursday afternoon due to a crash near Ruxton Road, according to authorities. Officials said two vehicles were involved in the collision on the northbound side of I-83. Someone was trapped when the crash occurred before 2:20 p.m., the Baltimore County Fire Department reported, and crews had to rescue the person. At least one person was injured in the collision, Baltimore County police said. By 3:10 p.m., it appeared all lanes had reopened but congestion remained in the area. Table courtesy of CHART.
