Description

Hello everyone... I just want to sing with anyone who loves to sing... Maybe form a singing group like the singing groups from the 60's and 70s... I play guitar but not great - mostly rhythm and some simple leads. But I can sing halfway decent - from Mack The Knife to Alice Cooper, Bad Company, Beatles, Elton John... Most of the 70s FM radio music + 60s AM radio music... any good song worth singing. Pop, rock, whatever but NOT RAP or HIP HOP because it's not singing. LET'S SING OUR HEARTS OUT. SEND ME YOUR LIST OF SONGS YOU LIKE TO SING. PARTIAL LIST I'M WORKING VOCALS ON AND CAN SING MOST BUT NOT ALL YET: Alice Cooper, Hollies, Grand Funk, Beatles, Deep Purple, Creedence, Bachman Turner Overdrive, Mamas and Papas, ZZ Top, Steve Miller, Elton John, Sly and the Family Stone, Kinks, Bad Company, Steppenwolf, Rolling Stones, Bad Finger, Blondie, David Bowie, Cheap Trick, Free, Huey Lewis, John Mellencamp, Pat Benatar, Pretenders, Steely Dan, Tom Petty, America, Neil Young, Lovin' Spoonful, Fleetwood Mac, Jackson Browne, JethroTull, KC and the Sunshine Band, Eagles, T Rex, Foghat, Guess Who, Santana, Grass Roots, Hendrix, Glen Campbell, Bee Gees, Monkees, Beach Boys, etc, etc... even the one hit wonders like: Alive and Kickin', Norman Greenbaum, Blues Image, Flying Machine, Rare Earth, Shocking Blue, Maria Muldar, Alannah Myles, Bob Welch, Looking Glass, Carl Douglas, Christie, Cliff Richard, Coven, Edison Lighthouse, Katrina and the Waves, Kim Carnes, Quarterflash, The Jaggerz, Walter Egan,... life is a rock but the radio rolled me... Never cared for: Dob Dylan, Yes, Rush, Stix, Moody Blues, Grateful Dead, Janis Joplin, Neil Diamond, Barry Manilow… used to like Zepplin but I don’t see what I liked about them now. Don’t care for country, blues, or folk music either with a few exceptions like: Johnny Cash: What Is Truth; Rosanne Cash: Seven Year Ache; Seekers: Georgie Girl; Peter Paul and Mary: Leaving On A Jet Plane; John Denver: Country Road; Joan Baez: The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down… etc, etc… actually … A good song is a good song no matter what the genre: AstrudGilburto: Girl from Ipanema; Shirley Bassy: Goldfinger; Ray Charles: Cincinnati Kid…
