Description
BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — A crash stopped traffic on the inner loop of the Baltimore beltway Monday morning, according to authorities. The collision happened around 11 a.m. before the Providence Road exit on Interstate 695, state transportation officials reported.
Four vehicles were involved in the collision, which also blocked lanes on the outer loop, according to authorities.
The inner loop was jammed from Providence Road to I-83, WBAL reported around 11:45 a.m., while traffic on the outer loop was backed up to Harford Road.
By 1:35 p.m., transportation official said the crash had cleared from the travel lanes and only the left shoulder was closed.
