Glam Metal Rock Drummer. Nothing too hard you can't do, nor too simple you can't throw some flash or have room to showboat. Do's: have long hair, lean image, and a better drum kit than my tryout piece a crap, a job and wheels. Do Not: be Family Guy know-it-all who just wants to be in a band for the summer Verboten: Do not be "that audition guy." We are doing MY songs, for a new CD, not yours. Then we are playing out; so this "scope of work" here is limited, and has no leaway for the Interpretive Dance Thing some of these "audition guys" bring to the table. This is very different from other things I've done before, which were straight metal, with influences: Beatles, early Elton John, TRex, Who, Kiss and early Aerosmith. Very rock. Much crash. Cheese band from the Valley, earning win tickets for the prize counter: I never lost money in bands; If you look and play okay, you can audition. But if you have a reputation of being difficult to work with, you can not audition.
