We are looking for an experienced landscape installation foreman/ project lead to oversee the quality of our residential installations that our teams install for our clients. The ideal person is highly dependable, has an eye for details, great communication skills and will be interested in using their install foreman/lead experience in our part-time position allowing for a better work life balance! If you have a strong background in all aspects of landscape installations, plant knowledge, an eye for detail, and clear communication skills you may be just who we are looking for. Some of what you would be doing: Interacting with our designer and office team. Ensuring quality of the installations for our designs done by our partnering contractors Providing our clients support and customer service during and after the installs Plant material pickup and delivery Plant replacement Job site touch-ups: may include minor grading, plantings, or clean up as needed Communicate job progress and completion with lead designer/owner Odd jobs on current and past job sites as requested Our ideal person: Has Plant knowledge. Must be able to identify common plants as well as their condition Has experience in hardscape and softscape installations and standards Is a problem solver within the scope of the design Is a self-starter who can work independently Is organized with their workspace and their use of time Has great attention to detail, can see what others may miss Has strong communication skills via phone, technology, and email Can follow verbal and written directions Is dependable and able to work to deadlines Is able to read a landscape blueprint/plan for installation of plantings Have a good driving record and valid license Knows their way around the Twin Cities area for deliveries Able to lift and transfer plants of various sizes Work with our dedicated team to provide high-quality work for our clients Is able to work flexible hours as needed April to November in varied weather conditions This is a less than full-time position with hours that will vary 20-30 hours/week during the busy season. Looking for a long-term team member who wants to grow with our company. More hours may be available for the right person looking to help in other areas of the company as well. Competitive hourly pay.
