Bassist looking for other musicians to rock some covers....

I'm a long time guitarist who has switched to bass, and I would like to find some jam buddies to play music with. I'm 58, so someone older would be ideal, but I'm not stuck on that. I'm not really looking to do anything like tour or gig out on a regular basis, just something fun, but if we do get to the point of gigging every once in a while, I'm cool with that. I would rather stick to playing covers. I prefer classic rock, alternative, punk, some metal. 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's mainly, but if there is something newer that you want to try, I'm all for it. Stones, Ramones, Beatles, Judas Priest, Blondie, AC/DC, Zeppelin, ZZ top, etc. I'm not really into country, but I could be persuaded to add country song or two into the mix. I'm a year into my switch to bass, so I'm still developing my chops. All skill levels welcome though. Please, no drugs during band time, no drama, and leave your politics at the door, this is meant to be fun.
