The Bryan campus of Blinn College has one opening for a part time parking enforcement officer on campus. This position would work 19 hours per week. Since it is part time & limited to only 19 hours per week,there are no benefits. The starting pay is $11.96 per hour,paid by direct deposit every two weeks. The 19 hours would be obtained between the hours of 8am-6pm in the Monday-Friday time frame,depending on departmental needs & availability of the applicant. This position would involve primarily working outside in the parking lots of Blinn College-Bryan campus,monitoring & enforcing the parking regulations & policies that are in place. It would involve communicating verbally & in writing,with staff,students,faculty,visitors & vendors of the college. Providing good customer service & information to same. The ability to work outside in all kinds of weather is essential. The ability for extensive walking,standing,being on the move & physical fitness is essential. Its a high responsibility job where accuracy & attention to detail would be required. You should be able to be trained & be cooperative,working with a wide variety of people. You must be able to deal with the public,including those that are upset,with professionalism & tact. You need to be able to pass a background check. Blinn College students & Texas A&M University students are eligible to apply. It is also open to the general public of the BCS community. Could be a great job for a college student or an able & capable retired person. Issuing parking citations is a primary part of the job. Those that are interesting in applying must do so online.
