HAMDEN, CT — A Hamden resident is $100,000 richer after purchasing a winning lottery ticket in New Haven earlier this week, according to the Connecticut Lottery. On October 5, Mohammed Safi, of Hamden, purchased a $100,000 CASHWORD 10 ticket from the Whalley Deli & Grocery in New Haven and won $100,000.
