Albany Management is seeking a Building Superintendent for our multi-story commercial building located in downtown Albany, NY Requirements - High school diploma or equivalent - 5 years of HVAC experience - Must have EPA Universal Technician Certification for Refrigerates - HVAC Certification is an added plus - 3 years of supervision experience - Able to complete preventative maintenance and maintain reports and records of equipment and facility - Must be able to trouble shoot, service, balance, repair and perform complete preventive maintenance of HVAC systems including cooling tower maintenance and chemical treatment - Must have strong electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance and structural knowledge - Candidate must be good natured and professional with a good work ethic - Ability to work independently as well as a team player and leader. Having effective time management skills is a plus - Self-motivated, dependable, and be on-call Responsibilities - Oversee day to day supervision and scheduling of staff - Maintain heating, air conditioning and mechanical systems - Must be able to perform daily maintenance tasks, including but not limited to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, as well as general assigned duties - Follow policies and procedures for completing inspections and reports in a timely manner Interested candidates may send us a detailed resume including education, work history, and experience with emphasis on the elements identified above.
