Wegman's Medford Shoppers Club buy one, get one free opportunity for potentially the items attached.
Wegman's in Medford advertises in-store prices for ShoppersClub members with little shelf placards that offer a discounted price with a posted "Good Thru" date. However, this Wegman's store arbitrarily removes these placards before that date with no other notifications. This could be a Wegman's corporate policy as well.
The good news is that they will honor their in-store advertised ShoppersClub price with their Accurate Price guarantee policy, This basically means you'll get one extra item for free and any additional items at the "advertised" ShoppersClub price.
I have let the Mass Attorney General's Consumer Complaint bureau know about this continued practice at the Medford Wegmans store but they have not indicated that it is against Mass advertising laws etc. With the exception of this practice, I do enjoy Wegman's pricing etc. but am tempted to alert the media to this flawed "advertised" price policy, instead of just this crowd-sourcing attempt.
Attached are several items which have these advance date "good until" date placards. You'll need to ensure the placards for these have been removed prior to taking the contested items to the customer service counter for approval.
Thanks,
D.
PS I will try to add additional items to this posting but your due diligence is requested as well.
