TOWSON, MD — As the presidential election draws near, voters must decide how and when to cast their ballots. From drop boxes to the U.S. mail to in-person voting, there are options. Early voting in Maryland runs from Oct. 26 to Nov. 2. Election Day is Nov. 3. Registered voters can: Vote by mail.First, request a mail-in ballot from the State Board of Elections or your local boardValid Maryland ID is required.Election officials must receive the request by Oct. 20 (leave five businesses days for USPS to deliver the request).Your mail-in ballot must be mailed or dropped in a designated drop box location by 8 p.m. on Election Day.Put your ballot in a Baltimore County ballot drop box.During the first week in October, Baltimore County will install 13 ballot boxes:Arbutus Recreation Center: 865 Sulphur Spring Road, Halethorpe, MD 21227Baltimore County Board of Elections, 11112 Gilroy Rd, Hunt Valley, MD 21031Hereford High School 17301 York Rd, Parkton, MD 21120Honeygo Run Community Center: 9033 Honeygo Boulevard, Perry Hall, MD 21128Jacksonville Recreation Center: 3605 B Sweet Air Road, Jacksonville, MD 21131Oregon Ridge Lodge: 13401 Beaver Dam Road, Cockeysville, MD 21030County Campus Metro Centre at Owings Mills: 10302 Grand Central Avenue, 3rd Floor Owings Mills, MD 21117Sollers Point Multi-Purpose Center: 323 Sollers Point Road, Dundalk, MD 21222Randallstown Community Center: 3505 Resource Drive, Randallstown, MD 21133Reisterstown Senior Center at Hannah More Park: 12035 Reisterstown Road, Reisterstown, MD 21136Towson University – South Campus Pavilion: 1 Auburn Drive, Towson, MD 21252Victory Villa Community Center: 404 Compass Road East, Middle River, MD 21220Woodlawn Community Center: 2120 Gwynn Oak Avenue, Gwynn Oak, MD 21207Vote in person.This can be done during the early voting period — Oct. 26 to Nov. 2 — or on Election Day, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.On early voting days, cast your ballot at one of Baltimore County's early voting polling places.The State Board of Elections says the best time to vote is on weekends.On Election Day, cast your ballot at one of Baltimore County's polling places.Voters will be required to stand 6 feet apart, and the number of people inside voting centers will be capped (which may result in lines and wait times)The State Board of Elections says the best time to vote is between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Haven't Registered To Vote? Visit elections.maryland.gov to register to vote or update your registration information. The deadline is Oct. 13. You can also register to vote or update your information in person during early voting or on Election Day.
