HAMDEN, CT — A car crashed into a building early Monday morning in Hamden, according to fire officials. Crews from Engine Company 2 responded to the crash on Treadwell Street. The driver left the scene before crews arrived, according to officials. "The scene was assessed for hazards and the town building inspector was requested," officials wrote in a post on Facebook. "This call was HFD's 6,095th call of the year so far." No further information was immediately provided.
