Volunteers Needed… The Endicott History and Heritage Center, located at 40 Washington Avenue, Endicott, is looking for people to volunteer as docents. An OPEN HOUSE for anyone interested in volunteering, will be held on Saturday, May 7 from 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. A second Open House will be held on Saturday May 14 from 1:00 – 2:30. The duties of the docent are to answer visitors’ questions about the displays, to help visitors take a self guided tour using their smartphones, or to give guided tours of the Endicott History and Heritage Center to visitors. Volunteers should have a strong interest in Endicott history, and Village of Union history. Knowledge of IBM or EJ may be helpful, but is not required. Training will be provided. If you cannot attend one of the Open Houses, please join us any Saturday, any time between 10 AM and 2 PM, at 40 Washington Avenue. Come see what the museum is all about.
