ICI - www.icibuilds.com ICI is seeking an experienced Yard Manager to join our team. This position is responsible for the overall management of the construction yard for International Contractors, Inc. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Plan, organize and lead a safe environment in ICI’s construction shop and yard areas * Enforce and follow all company policies for safety, maintenance, and inventory management * Manage, pick, confirm and deliver equipment and material orders * Direct contact for Field Team regarding equipment and material orders * Responsible for inventory management * Maintain company vehicles and equipment as necessary * Manage yard and shop cleanliness and other projects assigned by Management * Ability to drive and maintain forklift equipment * Perform required inspections and basic maintenance of equipment and vehicles * General mechanical knowledge of construction equipment and vehicles * Basic auto repair skills Additional Responsibilities: * Current Valid Drivers License * Ability to maintain current CDL License (or ability to obtain same) * Show up to work on time and ready to work every day * Take direction and follow orders completely and carefully * Work hard and take initiative * Be respectful * Speak English clearly and fluently Education and Experience: * High School Diploma * Forklift Certification (or ability to obtain same) * Previous experience in construction or related industry a plus Physical Requirements: * Ability to appropriate use of security, maintenance, and safety procedures to protect company, employees, and assets * Ability to apply appropriate use of personal protective equipment (i.e., safety gloves, hard hat, safety vest, etc.) * Ability to avoid accidents by recognizing potentially unsafe situations and respond appropriately when accidents occur * Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 20 lbs. – 50 lbs. * Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull over 100 lbs. * Ability to constantly reach outward, handle and finger objects, stand, walk, and sit * Ability to frequently bend, squat, kneel, twist, turn, climb, and crawl
