Key Benefits: - Competitive wage - Union Benefits: 100% Employer contributed healthcare and pension - Opportunity for growth: join the apprenticeship and become a Journeyman Tree Trimmer within 2 Years Groundmen Responsibilities: - Drive and operate chip truck with chipper trailer - Move tools and equipment from truck to tree and lower branches with rope or pole - Cut branches and brush using chainsaw - Pull loose branches from tree using pole saw - Load debris, tree trunk, and limbs on to truck - Push limbs into wood chipper - Sweep, rake, or use leaf blower to clean-up the worksite - Assist in maintaining tools - Provide Traffic Control Requirements & Qualifications: - Pass Drug Screen - Valid Driver’s License (Class B Commercial Driver’s License preferred) - Valid membership in the IBEW Local 77 - Able to repeatedly lift up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds - Able to work outside in all elements - Be able and available to work in all locations throughout Western Washington You will be expected to obtain the following certifications within 30 days of being hired: - First Aid / CPR - Flagger’s Card You will be expected to obtain the following certification (with assistance from Kemp West, Inc.) within 18 weeks of being hired: - Class B Commercial Driver’s License Job Type: Full-time (40 hours per week) Compensation: $25.52 per hour plus 100% employer contributed healthcare and pension To apply: respond to this posting
