Job Overview: As a Groundsman 1 you are bringing a basic skill set to the table and are ready to learn more to increase your knowledge and bring more value to the team. With help from the team, you will learn the basic skills to become a skilled groundsman. No job is too small when it comes to moving the entire team forward. Qualifications: Valid Driver’s License, acceptable driving record & reliable transportation Team player who is able to communicate and work well with others Uncompromising attention to detail Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions Ability to work in a high stress - fast paced environment Must consider safety and courtesy high priorities Willingness to learn and develop new skills Ability to lift and carry 50-100lbs Responsibilities Include (but not limited to): On time for work with a positive attitude Completes all company training requirements Adheres to all company policies, procedures and practices Motivated to learn and assist other team members with all tasks Apply common sense to all tasks designated by Team Lead Attention to detail on all designated tasks Utilizes basic equipment such as rakes, handsaws, loppers, ladders Maintain clean job site, truck, trailer, and tool inventory Learn safe chipper and chainsaw operation and maintenance Ability to work as a team
