Makes No Sense

If the government is so concerned about Covid that people on planes and kids in schools still have to wear masks, why is it that thousands of people every day can illegally come into the country without even being tested? It makes no sense. No wonder the polls show approval ratings for about everything this administration is doing at about 33%. I still can't understand what they have done to get the ratings that high. Must be that 33% of the people just aren't paying attention.
