Extended Leaf & Brush Collection Postponed In Hamden

HAMDEN, CT — The extended Fall Leaf & Brush collection program in Hamden has been postponed until further notice due to the severe winter storm in the forecast, Public Works Director Craig Cesare announced Tuesday. The Hamden Transfer Station will also be closed and will not offer additional hours on Saturday, Dec. 19, according to Cesare. Residents are reminded to visit here for more information about the facility and hours of operation. Upon the completion of snow removal and restoration duties, the Leaf & Brush collection program will resume for areas around Hamden that have yet been collected this season, Cesare said. Residents are reminded that they can also dispose of their leaf and brush debris by bringing their waste to the Transfer Station facility. For more information, contact Public Works at 203-287-2600.
