Multiple Positions Open Positive and Energetic - Classic Car Restoration Mechanic and Fabricator! Compensation: $25 to $36/hr DOE employment type: part-time to full-time 10 days paid vacation after probation period! Tools provided! Air Conditioned work bays! Surrounded by beautiful classic cars all day! Bonus incentives for top performers! Flexible schedules are possible. Pick the days you want to work Monday through Saturday 3 to 6 days a week. Your choice! Unique position for a talented fabricator. Strong fabrication skills are important, especially in metal. Tools provided. Able and willing to learn new skills outside of welding. Do you love to understand the engineering ingenuity required to make a car move, stop, and be a pleasure to drive long before the microprocessor was ever invented? If so you may be a classic car fabricator/mechanic and we need those. The hands-on experience actually fabricating, building, repairing, and updating vintage stuff, especially cars is important but we really don't care if you come from the airline industry or worked at a zoo! A degree in Botany or a lifetime degree in hard work does not matter to us. All that we care about is integrity, ingenuity, a positive attitude, and actual hands-on experience building stuff especially vintage things like cars made in the 20s through the 70s! A good resume is required to apply and it is even better if you can provide a few photos of any projects you have worked on. We will do an onsite hands-on working interview for qualified candidates where you will demonstrate your skills. 10 days paid vacation accruing weekly after your first 6 months! Periodic pay raises depend on your capability and demonstrated quality and work performance. Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds upstairs. Must be able to stock items up staircases and use heavy tools like jacks and impact wrenches. Must be able to use automotive hand tools and electric tools like small drills or heat shrink guns. Valid driver's license needed. No insurance is offered at this time. Other Duties: Read manufacturer's drawings and manuals Operate a variety of hand, power, and shop tools Keep shop equipment operating (maintain, troubleshoot, repair, etc.)
