Seasoned songwriter seeks hand percussionist for originals and 70's covers. I have over 200 original songs and can cover about 30 or so 70's country/rock. Think Gram Parsons, Emmylou Harris, early Dylan, Pink Floyd...etc. Not looking to start/join a jam band or already established band. I'm wanting to start a new (small) band for fun and to play the kind of music (songs) I/we dig and see where it goes. I'm fine playing out solo but it would be nice to have new friend(s) join the cause. I play mostly acoustic rhythm and sing lead and some sketchy harmony, Ha! Please live within a half hour drive from Weaverville, be a nice, openminded person with no ego issues and be willing to practice at least once a week to eventually play out at open mic/writers nights, festivals...etc. 420 friendly and a few beers are fine but please, no raging alcoholics or total stoners who can't focus.
