I just want to thank all the folks who bothered to write to me about my post! Huge response from people who genuinely care about dogs and understand supply and demand. The people who continue to breed bullies don't seem to be able to acquire information about the reality of the oversupply and underwhelming demand for pit bulls. I agree with so many of you that once someone buys a dog for $500, they will turn around and become an indiscriminate breeder themselves to make a buck off the suffering of the dogs! Stay strong and keep flagging breeders!
